Hi, it’s me again.
First off, I’m so grateful for all the love and support after my last post. Reliving those painful few days was not easy, but it turned out to be surprisingly therapeutic. I never want to forget what we lost because it reminds me of everything we had, and all that we are working towards having again. So, thank you for being part of this journey with me—it’s been incredibly comforting to know that even when we may feel lost, we’re never truly alone.
We’ve had to ask ourselves some seemingly impossible questions these past few weeks: What will be our first step in rebuilding our life? Will we go back to see what’s left of our house? Where are we going to live? Do we want to own less now that we’ve lost everything? How does one even begin rebuilding a closet? And knowing what we know now, would we change anything? What better way to begin answering these questions than with all of you? Spoiler alert: I don’t have all the answers, but I’m working on it.
But first, let’s start with the most important question…
How we are we doing?
