Spring Part 1 was all about What’s in My Cart for Spring, so I thought it’d be fun to flip the script and ask some of the best girls I know (and some of you might know and love too!) what they’re most excited to wear this season. I’m seriously loving all their answers, and it turns out we’re all on the same wavelength. No surprise there! Yellow, blue, fun textures—think raffia, suede, mesh—and plenty of eye-catching accessories. It’s clear we’re all ready to have some fun this spring, but as always, making sure we look great and feel even better doing it.
I took the pieces they sent over, created a few standout outfits, and grouped the rest by common themes. It’s like a fashion treasure hunt, and trust me—there’s some serious treasure to be found. So, go ahead, dig in, and see what’s waiting for you.
Here’s what the girls are wearing this spring. Enjoy the hunt!
Hello, Yellow
Lauren Ireland, co-founder of the beauty brand Summer Fridays and longtime content creator, is 'excited to have fun with colorful sunnies this spring! Accessories make it easy to play with trends — and this year, I want to lean into more color!'
Tara Moni, fashion enthusiast, boy mom, and founder of La Maregold, plans 'to run out of the house wearing airy sweaters over dresses!'
Grace Atwood, founder of The Stripe (a fashion and lifestyle site) and
(a top fashion and beauty Substack), loves a shell motif. 'I feel like I say this every year, so maybe I’m a broken record, but at least I’m consistent. I am a huge fan of Marissa Klass's pieces. This shell and gemstone necklace would be a dream purchase!’Shea McGee, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Studio McGee and McGee & Co., is looking forward to wearing 'powdery blue knits and accessories.'
She also cant wait to wear a-line skirts.
I think a colorful and playful handbag has the power to turn even a simple pair of jeans and a white t-shirt into the perfect spring outfit!
Tara added that she loves a tonal outfit, so she recommends pairing this butter yellow dress with the yellow cardigan from earlier. Sometimes she goes ‘bolder with print on print like pairing a striped sweater to a floral dress.’
Lauren Neff Eskew, content creator and editor of Bonhomie, is all about playful spring bags. More on that later!
Jordan Foster, stylist and style director at Favorite Daughter, says, 'I love a boxer short in general, but especially this spring with my growing belly. I will be living in all of Donni’s elasticated waists! I have the matching button-up too, and both come in multiple colors.'
Emily DiDonato, model, content creator, mother of two, and co-founder of skincare brand Covey, revealed, 'I got this green trench from Loewe. I’ve never really worn a trench coat before, but now I’m a full convert.'
Mary Glenn McElveen, stylist and wardrobe consultant, is ‘planning on wearing lots of elastic shorts + matching button downs during this spring season! The perfect casual, easy and newborn friendly look.’
Gabriella Gofris, author of
on Substack, and marketing director at Starling, ‘could not be more ready for spring! I am so excited to wear these Freda woven flats.’Nomi Goldman, wardrobe stylist and content creator specializing in affordable fashion, is ‘feeling pulled to all things yellow as spring gets closer. I really want these yellow suede sneakers (would wear as a neutral!)’
Lauren Neff reminded me how much I love the shape of this bag, and this time, they’ve made it in satin instead of leather. So fresh!
Liz Adams, author of
and the voice behind the lifestyle blog Hello Adams Family, sent over these flats and said, 'The combination of the mesh and vibrant yellow makes these flats such a fresh take for spring and the happiest pop of color!'Ilana Torbiner, author of
, is excited to wear ‘sandy, lightweight jackets! I live in Chicago so I’m looking forward to throwing something on that isn’t black and puffy! Whether it’s trench adjacent…’‘Or suede. It will make the perfect addition to a white t-shirt and jeans.’
Jen Kay, photographer and mom of two, mentioned ‘I only have eyes for cheerful and optimistic colors for this spring and canary yellow it is!’
Putting the Spring in Spring Break
The mysterious blonde behind the cult-followed Instagram account Things I Bought and Liked recently ordered this bag and shared, 'It’s big enough to actually fit towels or life vests for the beach.'
She quickly added ‘and obviously always always always husband shirts by Julia Amory.’
Jacey Duprie, author of
and editor of Damsel in Dior, says ‘I’m excited to incorporate pops of colorful print into my wardrobe for spring, carrying them effortlessly into summer. I'm especially loving Soleil Soleil pareos—they’re perfect as a shawl now and double as a chic swimsuit cover-up later.’Grace also shared ‘I just got this raffia + shell bag from Simon Miller that I'm super excited to wear.’
Gabriella added she’s also looking forward to using, 'this awesome mesh Chan Luu tote. Plus I scored a vintage Gucci pink satin evening bag and will definitely be sporting it around all spring and summer.’
Into the Blue
Caroline Chambers, writer of the Substack and NYT bestselling cookbook
and mom of three beasts, tells us ‘I'm 22 weeks pregnant with my 4th, and I am really leaning into the oversized look this time. My Spring look so far has been an oversized cotton sweater…’‘Plus the J.Crew satin textured pant and as the weather starts to warm up I'm just adjusting that look slightly by swapping in an oversized button down.’
More colorful sunnies, Lauren Ireland is eyeing.
Lauren Neff also ‘loves this bag for spring! And the price point too.’
Carly Riordan, founder of life and style blog, CARLY, and mom of two boys is eyeing the ‘Margaux Demi ballet flat in denim suede! This is my favorite style of ballet flat; I can walk miles and miles in them. The denim suede is their best yet, so soft and comfortable. I’ve already found myself planning outfits around the flats!’
Katie, our book BFF and mastermind behind Instagram account and website Beach Reads and Bubbly, shared, 'This jacket is actually too cute for words. This is the spring of off-white (dare I say ecru?) pants for me, and this jacket will pair perfectly with them! True to size, incredibly chic—the details are everything!'
Katie Sands Bochner, the what to wear girl and new mom, shared ‘I practically lived in these carpenter pants throughout my pregnancy, and now they come in every color! Love their versatility, comfy fit, and effortlessly cool vibe.’
Hannah Soboroff Shargal, founder of Eema Studio and mom of four boys, loves ‘poplin button-downs in stripe-y spring-y colors! I go oversized, and its always effortlessly chic. With vintage jeans in the spring, or unbuttoned over a swimsuit in the summer — always a winner!’
I caught Victoria Garrick Browne, content creator, founder of The Hidden Opponent, and host of Real Pod, right after a spring online shopping spree. She picked up this button-down.
And this dress.
Here’s that powdery blue knit that Shea was talking about earlier.
Mad for Plaid
Hannah Chody Milburn, content creator, entrepreneur, and all-around style expert, is ‘so into reimagined plaids and ginghams for spring - I preordered this top and can’t wait to dress it up with a long silky skirt or down with denim cutoffs.’
Mini Skirt Moment
Emese Gormley, content creator and co-host of the podcast Lipstick on the Rim, is 'so excited to wear mini skirts this spring. It feels weird to say as a mom in my 40s, but I love the look of a simple mini skirt paired with a blazer and loafers. I’m eyeing this one from Doen at the moment and think I need to pull the trigger.'
And that’s a wrap! I think I speak for everyone when I say a big thank you for following along on this little fashion treasure hunt. We hope you found some fresh inspo for your spring wardrobe and are as excited about these pieces as we are. This season is all about having fun with fashion—so mix, match, layer, and make it your own. We can't wait to see you out there in all your yellow and blue hues, shells, plaid, mini skirts, and colorful sunnies! I’d love to hear what you’re most excited to wear, too—share it in the comments! Until next season.
Loved it all!
